whats up guys!

Just got my firestorm a few days ago..

I really love this monster! the engine is so powerful that it wheelies everytime you accelerate.. its so great for bashing and racing as well..

Crashed it hard once already, crampled my upper deck and broke some parts, but I replaced all the broken parts immediately and went bashin that same day

I have one question though; is it normal for the firestorm to have a small turning radius?

Thanks!

Default Brakeing and racing

i just trying to find out how everyone is dealing with brakeing issues? I race my Firestorm in an Open stadium truck class with the stock motor. I can get the guys ont he jumps and straights but i can get the damn thing to turn fast enough other than a power slide in the corners i have drilled and thatched the brake pads but i am not getting enough pressure. Any ideas. I am pretty much stock other than shock springs and proline tires i will try to get some pics up. all your rides are way clean mines a bit over a gallon old and Race worn.

thanks for the help

I got this truck two months ago and loved the thing just driving around and learning about the R/C hobby, but when I raced it I had the problems you guys are talking about (not making the corners unless I slid, braking issues). I read somewhere that people were saying this truck is a great truck except for the servos they put in were pretty much crap. I've decided to move onto the truggy class but this truck I think is awesome, just needs a few upgrades to be a quality racing truck.

Thread seems to have died down.

But i've posted me other cars up so what the hell

Had me storm for a couple of years now.
No idea how many litres of fuel it's had through it but it's a fair bit.

First thing i changed were the servo's the ones that came with the car were terrible.

Bought these.

Major improvement in control, both steering and accel/braking.

Been faultless apart from the usual exhaust coming loose and the front bulkhead braking.
As a result i treated her to some hop ups a while ago, new wheels and tyres, carbon upper deck, graphite arms etc.

Cheers
Mark

Default dead?

Is this the main firestorm thread? I have been in the RCUniverse FS thread for a few years now and just joined RCTech because their Losi 8ight T 2.0 thread is much more active.

what spring did you use? didnt know if it was a traxxass part umber or what or was it something that was laying around?
