Not yet, atleast not from HPI or anything I have found but I am hoping they will release one soon. For now though the bashplate I made up really seems to help out.

Yes you can! All you have to do is swap out the engine and there are many legal engines that will drop into it. The problem is the size, the stock 3.0 is too large. (actually one of the biggest engines you will find in a 1/10 st).

Default Firestorm

I've had my Firestorm for about 3 months now and man do I love it. Handles good and is really quick. This thing comes out of the corners like a bear. Went up against a couple of RC10s and smoked them................

Default Replacing the 3.0 engine with what ?

Hello

First time here guys and I've purchased a Firestorm 10T around a month ago....I love the car

Anyway, I noticed a post from CustomRide saying "Yes you can! All you have to do is swap out the engine and there are many legal engines that will drop into it. The problem is the size, the stock 3.0 is too large. (actually one of the biggest engines you will find in a 1/10 st)."

Think this would be really cool as mine already blazes some 4wd out there......could anyone point me in the right direction of these engines which I would be able to fit and race my car legally ?

Cheers Jez

its brilliant! it wheelies sooo easy! (and its not tuned properly yet! its running a bit rich)
my only complaint is the brake, it broke on my first tank after break in, and when i replaced it with a metal one the thing it attatches to snapped off the ting coming from the tranny. i'm just going to super glue it and untighten it a bit. i was locking the wheels up. and i made a bash plate for the front. its a peice of 1.5cm flat steel bar bent to the shame of the front of the chassis, coming up flush with the body shell. its perfect.

EDIT: just read youre post on wheelies, i screwed the bits that the springs are attatched to down all the way (off the thread) then up one, this also hardens the suspension a bit. to do a wheelie you brake, then just as you stop you give it some welly and it will wheely the battery box on the back makes a graet wheely bar, just cover it in some of that steel you had.
