The MC59 is a hot plug. Not necesarry for one specific engine size. I run them in the winter time around this area so they idle properly.

I didn't add the shim to mine and I'm running 30%, I'm not sure if you are suppsoed to, but it does run fine without it,

I run MC59's in pretty much any motor, it also depends what fuel you ar running, 30% generally likes a hotter plug I think? I've also found that big block engines run better with a hot plug too, I'm also in Canada too tghouh, so it doens't get as hot here as say Arizona or somewhere like that,

From what I was told it is shimmed for up to 25% stock. Use the included extra shim for 30%.

We used the supplied extra shim for running in with 25% and after agood few liters removed it.
Some guys are running 30% with no hassles although if your local track has long straights the extra shim will help with a bit more top end.

From the people that are running this motor.... I have to ask.... did the pinch go away fast on this motor ? Or my luck, I did something wrong... It just seems to me that the pinch is not what you would think for a motor that has a little less then a gallon...

Thanks

Mine has around 1 1/2 gallons on it and the engine starts easily on the starter box but still has a very tight pinch when I try to turn it over by hand. The motor runs great.
