Thanks, I had the Ofna plate, but after I looked at the sportwerks, I see what you guys are talking about. Thanks for the help.

Default time for a new body

The body I have been using (MBX5T Proline body) which looked awsome on the TR Has been discontinued. So,, with that said what bodies are you guy's running now that look good?

I am confused as the Pro-Line site has 2 different pictures of bodies. There are 2 pictures that you can look at and both are different. Thanks for any reply's

I see that Andrew and Gene run the STRR proline body, but some trimming needs to be done. Most other people run J concepts MBX5T illusion body. It fits perfectly and looks sick. It's my next body for sure. The J concepts body is also lighter than proline.
There is a specialty body by RCbodies for the Matrix TR. I'm sure it's great, too, but IMO the J concepts just looks better.

Default brake set up

I've got everything together on my TR and I'm now trying to fine tune it all. Can someone explain how to set up my brakes properly as I have never had a vehicle with front and rear brakes.

Tighten the brake disk screws till the pads start grabbing the disk then back off about ľ turn so the drive train turns freely when the servo are at neutral. I always set brake so it takes as little servo travel as possible before the brakes start to grab. We usually run 60% front and 40% rear brake bias. After getting everything setup we roll the TR forward holding up on the rear of the truck then hit the brakes. Then roll the truck backward holding up the front and hit the brake. This is how we set brake bias on the bench, then fine tune on the track. Just make sure your brake end point (EPA) on your radio is set very low then adjust up so you donít bend or break something. We also use the metal brake pads and one Advantage fiberglass brake disk front and rear. Hope this helps.

McRan can you give me a link to the Advantage brake disc? Are they made for the TR? Also you use the stock metal pads alone correct? Thanks

Ok thanks, 2 more questions. The brace between the engine and battery box that goes from the chassis to the wing brace, what does it do, both on and off? An I would like to lighten up the drivetrain alittle, can I with no mods put in the plastic diff cases if the diffs I have are the stock pinned ones with the metal cases? Not the lsd diffs or Genes pins, from the factory metal cases with pins. Just making shure I am clear, and is the weight saving worth it?

Cutting weight in the drive train (rotating mass) is the single biggest improvement you can make IMO. It is like adding free horsepower! It will be snappier off the line and smoother to boot. Help you get up speed for those short run ups to jumps.

Yeah I figured that would help I will be getting those asap. Now about the other question, that upright brace in the rear that goes from the chassis to the "wing brace", I am shure taking it out would give alittle chassis flex now would that increase side bite or am I thinking wrong? Does anyone ever run it off or does it do anything at all? I am looking for more rear side bite. Thanks everyone....
