16.5 mm aluminum shock bodies Big Bore Shocks with 14mm width pistons

most everyone just uses the stock TR body but im pretty sure the pro-line mygen one works
and for buggy the mbx5 pro-line on or kyosho but it will be a little more work

Are the Cen TR blue springs harder/softer/same as the stock green springs? I just have the greens that came with my kit. How do the Mugen Red springs compare to the Cen Green?

Thanks

I think the blue springs are a little stiffer. Those are what I will be running this year. I ran the red Mugen springs for a bit last year. They didnt work to well for me as they are longer and stiffer. So it made it hard to set the ride height.

I am planning on doing more traveling this summer (as much as work will permit) I only strayed to Madison and Reedsburg last year but I plan to get around more this summer. My camping gear is ready to go, but my truggy still needs a bit of work before it is race ready. I still need to pick an engine/pipe, paint some bodies, and glue some tires. (Corsa?)

I have not ruled out racing a Matrix buggy this year in addition to my truggy. Only time will tell.

Gidday Guys

I was given a Matrix Arena TR by a friend to sell on ebay, the truck had a few diff issues which i told him i would have to fix before i sell , after close inspection I am very impressed with this truck and will keep it for myself. The first question i have is does anybody swap the 23 mm hexes as the are heavy , if so what do you replace them with , my mugen mbx5r hexes fit, should i be looking at staying with 23mm ???... This is the first truggy i have had anything to do with , which rims should i be looking at using with this truck , off set ect.. also looking for good starting point for shock oils and diff , bumpy tight track....

cheers Paul......

Default Tuning Problems

Guys,

I had a fairly serious bingle a few weeks ago in testing, hit a post flatout. So i've got all that sorted, but I am having huge problems trying to get it tuned. Not sure exactly what happened, could have been the result of it sitting for a few weeks.

Anyway. The problem that I am having is when i hit WOT, the engine flames out. If I go to half throttle it can sometimes splutter as if its not getting fuel (I have checked the fuel line and its all clear, fuel is getting to the carby and no air is getting in). The fuel line to the engine isn't very long, but I haven't had problems with that in the past. I have set the screws back to factory, but its doing the same thing over and over. I have tried leaning it right out, and fattening it up and again, the same thing.

I don't know where to go from here.

Oh, I'm using the O.S. VG30 with a bump start.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation.
Regards,
Jase
