Robert,

Finally got it running properly. It is still hitting about 280F but no matter what I do, I cant get it lower. I will keep a good eye on it and make sure nothing is getting damaged.

Its really snappy on the bottom end, and fast with a good trail of smoke at the all the way from the bottom to WOT.

With the 5955TG from hitec, and the arm adjusters screwed so that the arms are only slightly below horizontal, it handles like a rocket on rails. Just have to tune the suspension a little for some more jump friendly driving then I'll be into the local comps.

Still having issues with the new fuel line that i bought, but I'll get some larger inner diameter stuff and see how that goes. Once i have a respectable amount of line, I can route it like you suggest.

Regards & Thanks,
Jase

thorin--glad to hear you gpt it running properly but 280 F is to hot and the life of your motor will be reduced since the bottom end is really snapy try riching it 1 hour (just a tad) by what your telling me if it running good with a good amount of smoke i think mabey your temp gun is off and your not getting a proper reading.......what temp gun are you using??

RacingMason--yea that would be awesome show those other guys what your made of by whiping out a CEN 1/10 and leaving em in the dust

Robert,

Its a little Infra-Red one from a local electronics hobby shop. It really isn't a serious gun, and I have to say, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if its way off temp.

I tried richening the bottom end, but any richer and it goes back to where i was at before where it would hesitate a little before taking off, it'd just bog down a bit then take off.

If you have a ? with your temp gun you can do the old touch and spit test.
If you think the motor is real hot spit on it, if it sizzle's you are real hot.

I am also using the blue ofna box with two stick packs for my truggy. It is very powerful and I have no problem turning over my engines. I like that it is light-weight and you can have old stick packs ready to put in if they run down.
