Great! More CENs in the A main than anyone else!

So how did the Matrix TR handle in your eyes versus the Losi vehicle?

Put it this way:
You don't have to be 'the Drake', 'Peanut', or 'Truhe', work at Team losi, and race/practice every day for a living to make the A-main at a National race when driving an inexpensive CEN Racing Buggy or Truggy.

Kyle Sokol is a 19 year college student who has only been racing nitro off-road for 1 year. Chris Sytsma had never driven the TR Arena before Thursday. He practiced only 1 tank (as did I and Smolnik and Sokol because of the rain) and we all made the A-main. Sokol had problems in qualifying with a bad fuel filter that kept cutting the fule line, so he had to bump up from the C-main. The Matrix TR Arena is bullet proof, steers like a buggy, and handles the jumps and bumps 100 times better.

The 3 Losi drivers were faster on the tight blue groove layout, but they were all there practicing Tuesday before it rained on Wed and Thu.

My buggy set-up is on the CEN web site. The Truck set-up should be on soon.

Default Bearing Upgrade (Ackerman)

I was trying to figure a way to do away with the bushing in the steering ackerman so I ordered some 4x7 flanged bearings from AVID BEARINGS to try a figure this out.

The bushing is 4x7 so the bearing fits in perfect, but the bearing is shorterthan the bushing so you will have to us another 4x7 flanged bearing on the under side of the ackerman along with 3 small shims and 2 small clutch shoe shims

I added some pictures of the steering mod in th order they occur.

By doing this mod to the ackerman the steering will be super free and there will be no binding or hesitation at all.
