Gene, is it the less toe or more squat you feel is helping with more on-power steering? I run the 3t2s or stock plate and I could sure use a little more on-power steering. I run the rough track set-up you recommended and handles great other than the lack of on-power turning. I'll find out how it handles on a larger, smoother track at the Dave Mapston race in Spokane at the end of the month.

Almost any shock should work, you might too to change the ends but you shouldn't have any problems.

Lockmouth!! Your truggy looks like a Factory drivers truggy! Are you?

Another CEN is coming my way pretty soon...

Is BCE making a chassis for the buggy too?

I'm a sponsored Cen Team Driver, this is my first year racing, but I was big into the 1/18th minis before I got bite by the nitro bug I'm just a sportmans level racers, but I getting faster each time I'm out with my Matrix TR.

Thanks for the comment, I like my stuff to look good on and off the track

Bill did metion something about a buggy chassis, but he has been super busy with his Jammin PJX project.

Less toe in gives more on power steering. The 3' anti gives more forward traction then 2'. So a 2ts2 would be even more steering but might be hard to drive. I also have been using 3t3s blocks on smooth but dusty tracks to keep the rear from squating on accel. It also makes the truck jump much farther.

Where did you race minis in Shreveport? That carpet track up there? Or has it closed?

I'm not a factory driver, I'm just a sponsored team member. CEN unlike most companies care about more than just the high level racers. I'm just a average Sportmans level driver. I have put alot of time into my Matrix TR an I think it was noticed.

I meet Andrew at the AIC 5.0 and CEN RACE, we talked and help each other with pitting and other things at the races . Andrew was laid back an helped me an others with anything needed. I guess he seen that I was a loyal CEN user an was willing to give me a chance.

I can tell you this getting sponsored or help from companies goes further than just your on the track performance. I have others companies that help me out also ( BCE and RC BODIES.NET )

I'm not a super fast guy, I'm just a honest average racer that will help anyone on or off the track. I think my wrenching skills are my best area If I could drive like I wrench an modded things I would be one bad racer

I can say this, I have improved a bunch this season. Every time I race I'm getting better, plus I'm haveing fun doing it. I honestly think the Matrix TR was the best pick for me. CEN Racing is on the move, just think about it.... Other companies on on there 2nd or 3rd kit. If not they have been on the race scene for years. Just wait till CEN releases a ( TQ, EC, EVO, R etc..) kit. It is going to be awesome. This is our first kit cars ( FRE Matrix and Matrix TR ) CEN is not the biggest and most well known company, but the are competeing with the best of them. I'm sticking with CEN RACING .....things are looking good
