well i used to run grease-5K-grease and ran fine and just last weekend i changed it to 5K-10K-4K and just notice more hole shot and power out of the turn witch is what i wanted but it wasnt enough but i liked the grease because it last about 5-8 races longer than silicone so its kinda a hard decision and will take a few races to figure out what you want but to start of with i would go grease-5-grease and make sure you put a little more grease in front so it will pull you out of a turn rather than push you

if you have anymore questions i will be glad to answer/help you out

Thanks Rob I am sure I will have a few other question when I start building it. It will be here friday or saturday for sure. I have one question for you now actually. Will the matrix 17 mm adpters fit on the truggy so I can run 17mm rims, or will that make the truggy sorta stubby becasue it will not have the offset it needs from the 1/2 offset 23mm rims. Or can I put some dace 17mm 9mm offset adpters on it.
Thanks again
Joshua

proline makes offset 17mm wheels now, so you will be able to get the same dimesnions as with 23mm, I think Gene has been running them lately actually,

Cool thanks guys. The way I am probley going to go is get the 9mm offset dace adapters and put them on because I looked at some other truggys to see what the width was and on the 8T the width is 415.9mm and the CEN is 415mm so if I put the dace 9mm offset adapters on it will be the same width of the 8T so I think I am going to go that route.

Also Rob in this post you posted above you ran this diff setup in the lsd diffs well i used to run grease-5K-grease and ran fine and just last weekend i changed it to 5K-10K-4K if so I will prbley go for my track like 5-7-3 then. Thanks
Joshua
(p.s. does anybody know how to change your username because now that I am driving for CEN my username needs to be changed.) Thanks

what do you mean "for the track 5K-7K-3K"
all i do is RACE thats it i dont bash i just race and 5K-10K-4K is what i changed it to and ran it last weekend and it ran fine and again its all about the drivers feeling of the car and their preference so mabey 5-7-3 will work fine for you or mabey i missunderstood your post
give me some info on your track and ill try and give you a ball park setup

BTW if i miss understood your post let me know so i can give you the right info

as far as UN just go to edit profile and you should be able to go from there and change it

yes it would i forgot to mention that in my post

cause the tr is 415 and the 8 is 415.9 its point 9 so its not that much wider i would just leave it and run 1/2 inch off set rims but it really matters all you have to do is run 1MM off set and your all ready gonna be wider

thanks bobf24 for pointing that out

With non offset wheels the CEN is almost the same as the 8ight T.
With 1/2" offset wheels, the Matrix is much wider.

Wow, I did a really ugly job cutting that body for Andy at Gas Champs.

Now that I see it in pictures, I really rushed that one... My bad guys...

Andy is running the OPS 2013 pipe. I can't remember off the top of my head if that's the exact model.

Gene HickerCEN, when you gonna show up out to California??? Thought I was gonna be able to meet you in person at Gas Champs. Gene, I'll try to call you later this week about getting another set of KMW shocks. Bent the one of the front shock bodies at a Demo Event. I should never have used my race buggy at the demo...

Glad to hear all the CEN guys had fun at Alabama.
