If any of you guys are looking to pickup a bunch of NIB Parts for your CEN Matrix TR or Matrix give me a PM. Decided to see about getting my daughter and wife into rc electric it so will use the Matrix to fund it.

Few questions about the Matrix TR:

- What is the cheapest online retailer to order the Matrix TR RTR including shipping cost?

- for the RTR version, what are most have items to hop up to? (I read about going to different clutch springs and shoes in a magazine, is that one)

- How good is the stock engine and how easy is it to tune?

- What are the common Starter boxes everyone is using?

- Does the RTR come with aluminum diff cases or plastic?

- What are good 23mm rims that are not superwide (width like a nubz set) that work well on the Matrix TR other than CEN Brand?

- Will the CEN GST Rims and tires fit fine on the matrix tr?

Hobby shops can't advertise the TR Arena RTR for less then $500 due to MAP restrictions (the same goes for Losi and Kyosho brands). For the best deal call or e-mail your favorite shop and work out a package deal with all the options and equiptment you need. I would not trust Ebay. I get at least 1 customer per day in my shop who was ripped off by Ebay.

We have the Matrix TR Arena RTR for $500 shipped also.

i would like to add my .02 about buying new. i would definitly recommed buying from gene or your local hobby shop if possible. it is worth the little bit extra you pay to get the knowledge from someone like gene. i'm sure he would help you even if you didn't purchase from him, but we have to take care of our local hobby shops and even ones not local if they carry what you need (CEN). thanks for your help in the past gene. big puddin and i will be hitting houston for the first round of the pro series, my first time out with the experts! going to put the buggy and truggy to work, looking forward to it.

Impressive results for CEN Racing in buggy and truggy - B-main for both classes. I out qualified 3 current & former IFMAR World Champions but did not have the best luck when trying to bump up to the A-main event.
There were 400 entries and all of the best in the USA were there plus many drivers from over seas.

Buggy qualifying

Truggy qualifying
