It is for the 8ight 1.0 rtr.

alot of guys like the Dyna's...i run 2 KH hard's and 2 carbon on gold&green or even green&black if i want to smooth it out...High spring stall is what kills the losi stock set-up...so dont run All silver's w/e you do.

Default How often do you replace shock springs?

How often should I replace shock springs? Mine are 2 years old and seem to need more preload than other newer 8ights. I don't know if I should go stiffer or get the same springs? I bought my car used so I don't have the other rates that came with the kit.

if your gonna buy new one's...go on ebay and try and win the spring combo from a new kit. most guys who already drive losi have Too many springs as is...so most wont bid on the spring package and you should be able to get it cheep cheep.

That's a good idea. I'm pretty bummed I can't get my buddy to find the extra springs and swaybars. I know there just sitting in his garage. I even offered to pay extra for those parts even though they should have come with the car when I bought it from him. I've already bought the swaybar kit for $20, but 4 sets of springs is another $35.

basically....the 1.0 calls for Silver's on the alum...and the 2.0 calls for gold........on the composite its black on the 1.0 and green on the 2.0...but as to the actual clutch...no physical difference

How can I turn my 8ight into a 2.0 ? I never got the chance to run my 8ight because of my job but now I have time and hate to be behind the power curve. Any upgrade kits? Or do I have to do it from scratch.

It will cost more money turning it into a 2.0 than just buying the 2.0 from the start.

depends how much you wnna spend really. there are essentials to have tho...like the radio tray and servo saver plastics....the new center diff mount and brakes are another nice item to have....also the chassy....i bought a 2.0 and converted my 1.0 to EP and are slowly adding the 2.0 parts needed.

Default clutch

I change the clutch bearings after racing. 2 heats and a 12 min main ,then change for the next week. $1.00 each from avid. Have found it helps save on the clutch

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a new Losi 8ight RTR. Has anyone heard any words on the RTR kits getting an updated servo tray? Mine came with a servo tray that looks nothing like a 1.0 tray. The throttle servo is surrounded on all 4 sides by plastic. The side of the tray has a sticker that has the 8 logo followed by the numbers 004951.
