the tool most use is a Small Chain breaker/rivet popper....there about 100$ for a name brand version's.....but a 50$ version can be had on Ebay from SportingForLess....works like a charm.

LOL. If it were just cracked would I be able to see through the hole from one side to the other? Just slid right out, nobody I know had ever seen it happen either. I have chain breakers for bicycles, wonder if that will work.

i would think turning that allen key would be a pain....as the "chain breaker" style u have Lots of leverage with a long handle.....i dunno maby not......and not every chain breaker will work....some are Way too big for the application....u neeed a 2.9mm pin for it to work properly.

you own one???

the prototype that i have works great.....i put it in a vice and turn away....

this is also half the price as the one from a-main.....and works just as well

Ever since I bent two half shafts, I bring my trusty little vice now. It's the same vice I found in the dumpster of my apartment complex. Oh yes; it just gets better.

i talked to geo a couple times and he never got back to me on one of those tools....so thats why i went with the breaker style.

Nice pics, looks good.

I run the OS speed .21 in my 8ight. Im thinking of switching to the ninja for next season. How do you like the ninja .21??

Alot of debating on the forum, Whats the word guys?? is there gonna be a revised Nitro eight coming out??

I just sold mine and i wanna wait to buy a another 8ight. Not until i know for sure that Losi wont put out a WC edition 8 or whateve.??
