Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. How do I measure the droop on the 8ight? There can't be 109.5 mm of actual droop, so I assume they're measuring shock length with the shocks attached to the a-arm. Where do I measure from? Center of the shock cap mounting hole/standoff to bottom of the arm beneath the shock end seems to make the most sense, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

Center of the standoff screw to the center of the screw holding the bottom of the shock on.

i just noticed the arms on my 8b were bent is this a common problem and how much will it affect the car's handleing.

Thanks Eric Swanson. Finally found it last night in the RCtech archives, LOL. kolorking, a-arms on all 1/8 scale eventually warp from the pounding they take. You start having to change your spring preload to get the ride height you want and the car won't handle properly. Just replace the a-arms.

ok, third time asking..
trying to put in a picco .28 into a 8ight-t Roller but the bottom of the engine seems too wide in between the mounts.
Can I dremel away or do I have to get some new mounts (like quick change losi mount?)
come on folks, real simple question

I didnt respond earlier because I didnt want to come off like im giving you info you already know but since youre still having this problem I will post.
On the 8ight-t you most likely have the 2 indivual mounts, one for each side. I am assuming you purchased this truck used and the mounts were already installed. You will have to loosen the mounts from the bottom of the chassis and reposition them so they accomodate your engine. You will then have to reset the mesh.
Hope this helps, sorry if it is redundant.
