Dayton , the car should be dialed right out of the box. You might need to adjust droop and ride hight for that track, try the shocks as they are first, then if you find you need something different have at it , but I bet it goes really good right off, just change the tires, those CF's are for a wicked abrasive surface. Good luck

Bruce the C at a clube race?

I know in the winter the comp is very brutal there.
The only time I went up last winter for nitro I was on an A main run each qualifier but small mistakes would blow it for me.
I qualified 7th in the B, my time was only 1.2 seconds off from the 5th qualifier in the A.
If I remember right, 5th in the A through 9th in the B all qualified within 1.5 seconds, now that's some good racin.

I think there was close to 60 buggies that day.

I just got my hands on a new Race Roller. I was thinking of running it box stock for the frst run of the day minus some tire droop and ride height changes.

Does any of you guys know the Shock setup(pistons, oil) and diff oils of the race roller?

Thanks guys I for the info. I just wanted to try it that way before I changed to something different.

Sure. But isn't this in the manual? Losi is pretty awesome when it comes to this part of the manual. Or were you just wanting to know the difference from the original kit?

I bought one of each a pro kit for parts and a race roller for this coming weekend. I just was wondering if the setup sheet that came with my race roller was accurate to the car. The camber, caster and toe are all close to the RR setup sheet I just wanted some reassurance as to what the oils were. That way I knew what to start changing IF I wanted the car to react differently I will be on a indoor high traction techinal track.
thanks again

1armed1, I forgot to tell you that the engine mounting holes are retapped for the 4 metric screws that are in the bag , they should work fine for you ,as they fit the engine holes better Hope it is what you expected ? good luck

Unhappy Overall Shock lengths When building?

Does anyone know how far in the shock shaft should be screwed into the shock bottom as i have screwed mine in so that it just covers the threads and the shock piston is level with the top of the inside of the shock.

However this means that the piston pushes on the bladder inside when at full compression. Is this right as when i screw the shafts in further i can't get enough shock length for the droop settings. The manual does not really say where everthing should end up of overall lengths etc.

Any help appreciated as i can getting p*ssed off trying to set my rebound
