Wow!! How nice was that? Taking care of your problems while you are away from home. Now that is a dedicated racing buddy.

Carl,
Sat was a blast! You were going for broke in the section by the announcers booth! A true testament to how tough the Losi is. We were all having a good time it seemed.

No prob on the table and chair.
Just drop it off next time you are in Dallas. You can leave it at Indy if you like.

Got me an Ottlite for my birthday. Very cool! I need to work on that outdoor racing thing.

Later,
TEX

I was wondering if any of these tires are any good? And witch compound is the softest? (WD, BKD,WS)
Has any one tried them?
And they are only $23 shipped for 4 mounted tires!

These look like CF knockoffs. [-X

If you get the softest compond they are good. The rest are junk. Also the spoked wheel is junk but the solid has held out ok. That's my experience with the crime fighter looking version, I have not tryed the other tread patterns.

bigsal, sorry I don't know which one is the soft one. When I got mine at my LHS I felt them all up & picked the softests ones. They did have a sticker on the bag that said "new soft race compound".

Can anyone tell me the back plate # for the stock 427 motor on the buggy. I want to switch to the starter box. All I can find is the spin start plate. Thanks.

Clebo. fwiw, i just swapped the motor mounts on both my neighbors 8s to use the starter box. its still a tight fit without opening the flywheel access hole a bit. but there really inst a need i have found to change the backplate out, unless your looking for a bit less case volume. adding the back plate reduces crankcase volume, and increases compression.
