Unless your motor is week I see no reason to run anything but a 14. The car is light & if your clutch is set-up correctly the 14 works at every track I've gone too. I even ran a 14 on the indoor (small track) last winter where lots of guys with other buggies run 12's. It does depend on your motor/pipe though. I'm running the following motor/pipe/clutch set-ups with the 14.

RB S5, RB2020/198 header, Firrioni (sp?) 2 shoe turbo slider w/3 hard springs.
RB S7 (no W), RB2020/198 header, Losi w/4 7075's & 4 silver springs.
RB C6, RB2045(2020 for short tracks)/198 header, Mugen w/3 aluminim & 1.1 springs.

All with the Robinson Racing losi style 14t cb.

I was faster than Haggard's truggy TQ by 11 seconds.

We are going to Jakes (JCG) on Sunday for full test and tune. You in?? Let me know if you want to come down. Fiock wants to go on Saturday for real racing.

Love to see you bring the Losi down!

Hey guys here are the pics of the flywheels. I have 20 of them sitting here now and more on the way. They are chromolly steel and oxidized black. Very goos quality. It is an exact replica of the stock one just heavier. All you existing clutch stuff will fit right in. They are 35.00 Shipped USPS or 38.00 For Priority.

KForce: On your camera, see if you can find the "macro" setting. On most cameras it is a little flower symbol. Select that mode, zoom out as much as you can, remove any lens hood and your closeup pictures will come out 10x clearer and we will be able to see the details. Thanks

Try both flash and no flash. If you can't get the macro to come out with clean pictures, find out how to use manual focus. Try to manually focus to make it clearer. Just take a bunch of shots trying things and then select the best one.

Hey freefall, you guys still coming to Hutch for the nitro fall classic. It sounds like we should have a good turnout. We are going to have practice on friday from 12-6pm.

As far as smoothing the car out the all carbon setup works really good.

its not the same as a heavier flywheel. you are just slipping you clutch. the flywheel is adding rotating mass to the crank slowing down the rpm spool and it helps the motor idle better.

Has anyone mounted a PT inside the battery box on top of the battery? It fits in there nice and I'm concerned about signal strength. Will the signal be weak or erratic? Trying to clean up the RX box. I didn't like how cramped it was with wires, non-pro Spek Rx, on/off switch and volt regulator. so I'm trying different ideas.
