The uprights have been revised to correct this. I am using the 8T spindles and carriers, which are revised. I did this because the replacement parts from Losi were not available to purchase individually at the time. Not sure if the replacement parts are available yet or not. Its been a few months, so I'd imagine they are available.

Nick,

i had the same problem, my guess is one of your steering turnbucles is longer than the other.

this was my problem, i went back to the manual and reset my turnbuckle lengths....noe both sides are the same, and i had to shorten up the one on the servo.....now it is right on.....

Does anyone use the RTR chassis for more flex?
I was told to use the RTR chassis with the aluminum braces to even it out so its not too flexy.

And also, has anyone seen a guy named xrayeddy? He was suppose to buy some clutches but hasnt answered my calls? Maybe he is still trying to drive his GS Storm????jk,lol.

I have actually been using the rtr chasis ever since i got it but not by choice. I bought a used rtr and upgraded alot of things except for the chasis and the price of the cnc chasis is way too high for me to buy it when mine is still perfectly fine. I do notice that my car tends to get alot more air than most and can take the small bumps a lil better than most but that could be because of my springs...I use whites in the front and purples out back.

Im getting a rtr chassis. Ill run the aluminum stiffner's with it.. Im sure something strange will come of it. If i accidently hack someone, ill blame it on the chassis...

Did you get a regulator also. Unless you run Hitec robot servos, they won't last as long as they should. Too much juice.

Hello Everyone,
I found this thread just after I bought my 8ight a month ago and im blown away by all the helpful info that everyone provides. Thank you.

Im about to tear down my car to inspect and re-lube, and i had question regarding lube for the CVDs. What do you guys use for lube in the CVDs? I was thinking of getting the white Losi grease but you don't get very much. Is there something else that i can get that would work better and be more cost effective?

Get some White Lightning, Pedro's Ice Wax, or Finish Line Krytech dry lube from a bike shop. Clean your CVD's, reassemble and put a good sized drop in the center, spin the wheels a few times and let it dry overnight. These are great for the application because they don't attract dust and become grinding paste.
