are you asking about an off-road or on-road setup. Some good off-road starting set ups are posted on Losi's website. I have been shown where a ton of set ups are but I can't remember off the top of my head.

Run the stock setup with the exception of the front being 54 piston and 40wt oil and silver springs in the front and green in the rear. That should get you going pretty good for the time being.

I've been running my T as it came out of the box. Stock setup, stock parts, stock everything. Seems to work just fine

Are you asking about finding a thread on RCtech? http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=114310
This is for the 8T. Hope this helps. But the locals around me run it completely stock. They play with shock oil and pistons a little bit. Not much.

Well when you go over a bump in the track the rear end of the car should not bounce so high that the car flips forward smacking the wing & the motor upsidedown on the ground. The car never did that when the hinge pins were not bent Sooo I don't think I'm being "too anal". In 10 years of 1/8th scale off-roading, I never had another car do this. I think I understand how a off-road car should handle. And for the record my rear end "felt" free with the shocks off as well. I changed the hinge pins & it is fine now. As for feeling your suspension with your hand at zero miles per hour, you cannot always feel problems that occur at speed.

Default 8ight RTR clutch

So I was running my 8ight buggy through the yard and it stalled... when I went to restart it I noticed the wheels spun with the spin start. I knew right away that it was the clutch so I tore it down. I pulled the clutch bell off to find it tore up preaty badly the clutch shoes have grinded into it really bad. My question is my rtr only has 2 clutch shoes is it possible to put 4 in? I see that drake runs 4. do i need to change any thing to make it work?

Nope, just add the other 2 shoes and springs. Also, perform clutch maintenance regularly (after every 1hr of running) by using a knife to cut the mushrooming metal off.

I have been running the Truhe setup, but I changed the center diff fluid to 1500 and moved the rear hubs more center.
