Marcus,

Hey it's Travis. We hung out at the Daytona State race and Losi Race. Go back to box stock setup....diffs camber links and everything. It sounds like you need to play with the droop in the rear. Sounds like the rear doesn't have enough down travel? The car is very sensitive to ride height and droop.

Did you scrap the CEN? Give me a buzz sometime if you want.

Also just as an FYI to everyone. My 8T got SUPER tight(pushed) during a main after being good all day. When I got it home and took the radio tray out, I realized the servo saver adjustment have backed all the way down to the chassis and was binding the steering movement. Easy fix, but it totaly screwed my main.

Yup... I always thought I was only 6'5", but my wife checked a few weeks ago. 6'8", I guess I must have grown over the years

Won't that cause the linkage to rub a hole in your body?

ok guys i went to hobbytown and found some clutch shims from an hpi that fit under the servo arm insert. i got the arm raised high enough over the servo case to not cause any problems. can't wait to test i out at the track this weekend. thanks again to all that helped.

I want that brushless 8ight set up. no more engine tunning and clutch set up? why have we not seen more lipo brushless 1/8 scale cars yet? i bet a top of the line electric would destroy a nitro buggy. plus with battery tech getting better and better, you could almost run 30 min mains.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7c-ieY_VLc

youtube had this video of an electric 8ight that was tearin it up.

Even if it does "destroy" a nitro, they would be separate classes. I prefer the tuning, clutch setup and such. However, I would only enjoy an 8th scale or bigger electric. I too would like to buy an 8 kit to switch to brushless sometime, as it would probably be a blast, but I am too afraid to dent a lipo, which I have done several times in my now sold RC18T. Also, I would prefer the Flightpower batteries as they are up to 30C continuous discharge. I know quite a few electric heli guys use some big friggen batteries, AND in series AND parallel, but with 20C they still can't use the batteries all to much as it draws too much still.

Electrics are fine, I just don't care for them. I NEED the sound and smell of nitro. That's it.

Can you really do that? If so I might try it because I am having that problem and lining up the ballcup will be at a better alignment.

Has anyone did this?

Yo Travis whats up man. Hey man I have tried everything with this buggy. I put the buggy together and set it up the same way that I did with the buggy that I won the Losi Race with. There is something screwy going on. And on the rear I am running no droop. I have my droop screws all the way out. So I'm not for sure what all is going on. I'm rebuilding the car AGAIN, so hopefully I can figure out what the hell is going on.

Oh and the Matrix is on its way out. I ran it about 8 times and its a good car but it doesnt fit my driving style. So if you know anyone interested in a CEN Matrix FRE let me know.

I'll give you a shout sometime soon. Here is my number 850-819-8732
