Red face

I guess I'm the outcast now?...Banned from the Island?...Made to walk the plank??

I have Associated Alum screws in my 8ight. Have not had a single problem using them to hold my servos, hold the diffs to the chassis or hold the radio box in. Have never had one bend or break.
Do not use them on the very back of the chassis to hold the rear diff case in. The front screws in the rear diff case are just fine but the rear ones need to be steel.

I have stripped two of them doing routine maint while using a power driver. They are cheap to replace and save a TON of weight on the heavy radio side.

Good Stuff!

That's a good idea, where do you find them? I even thought about using one of my older tuned pipes that's heavier than the JP-2...but then I decided I like the JP-2 too much! I have yet to notice any ill effects from it being slightly heavier on the radio side though.

How often have you guys had to replace your brake disc's due to them getting the hole hogged out around the outdrives? Mine are pretty sloppy. Probably should have replaced them a while ago on my ride.

Mine still work fine, but a lot of back-lash.
