I think you use the Mugen nuts but am not sure. I tried to use a mugen nut on my LOSI hubs before and am almost positive that it didn't fit (different thread). My mugen hubs and nuts will be in today so I'll find out tonight.

Is anyone else having problems bending the outer rear hinge pins? I just tore my car completely down for the first time (1.5 gal on it) and both were slightly bent.

The Losi wheel nuts do work on the Mugen hubs I just got mine last night and they are the same thread.

Karo, I haven't personally bent an outer but I have seen both outers and inners bent. Quit running into crap and you won't have this problem.J/K

Some guys are running the Lunsfords but I haven't made the switch yet because I haven't bent any yet. We measured and looked into a couple of alternatives but most were metric so we decided to pass. I was told that they didn't nitride coat them at Losi either because of cost of the coating or seems like maybe a problem coating something with threads and a head.

That crap is running into me ...I honestly don't wreck a whole lot and don't beat on my car. I'm happy with the cars durability and haven't broken anything but a steering rod end and a couple bent rear hinge pins.
Stewart Fan - That's good to hear! So I am going to have alot of extra Mugen wheel nuts. I ordered two sets at dealer cost so atleast they were pretty cheap.

Karo, stuff has run into me in the past too I've rebuilt an Eight for a guy and both outer and one inner was bent to the point it bound the arm with the shocks off. One inner pin was bent on the front as well. I haven't run the Lunsford pins but I was thinking about it...

Freefallmarine I saw those bells at Dirtburner's the other day, they were kind of hidden. Are they geared more towards the standard 8th scale clutch or the Losi 4 shoe? I love the 4 shoe setup so much I sold all my standard 8th scale setups including the Fioroni stuff. I've been running 4 kingheadz shoes with 2 silver and 2 gold but just switched it today to 2 gold and 2 green to try...

Just picked up a 14t because I couldn't get my hands on a Losi 14t. Haven't run it yet though. Might get to run it next weekend at the pro series... never been there so I dont know what to expect.

Thats what im trying to figure out. I bet it's for the Losi clutch. Im sure the spurs will work for both. I wish i could've picked up some 3 shoe clutches from ya. I've got 3 motors that need clutch's for them. My losi clutch has 2 gold and 2 silver with king headz 7075 shoe's. with a novarossi plus-5 mated to it..Believe it or not it's over kill, but I like it.

They measure the length of the shocks, from the center of the top screw that holds the shocks to the tower to the center of the bottom screw that holds them to the arms.

center of the top shock screw to the center of the bottom shock screw while the car is "hanging" on a stand.
