Also, if you want to use other clutch bells, you can get a King Headz motor mount and flip the 2 top blocks...I haven't tried it personally, but the instructions with the mount say that it works by moving the engine forward 2mm.

Does anyone know what flywheel collet will work? Looks like you can only buy the flywheel and collet. I tried the ones that come with the Novarossi I'm putting in and its different. (the old one spun) I had some other shorter ones but the angle seemed different.

I'm looking to buy just the collet as well. Anyone know where I can get one?

Not sure where you can only get the collet, but by all means, only use the collet that comes with the flywheel (on any engine) - the collet is specific to each flywheel...

Adam is continuing to run his normal setup for the 8ight....think it might be the ARC or Hemet setup??? Adam runs drilled pistons f/r with 37.5wt front and 27.5wt rear. Truhe runs Adam's setup but 1mm longer shocks f/r (more down travel), 25wt and molded/stock 56 rear pistons, and 40wt front oil being the only differences other than equipment (i.e. engine, pipe, etc...) used.

On the collet it is the same one that Losi uses for the 1/10 AD2 gas truck. This one will/should work for a Nova engine, for Picco I am not sure if you need a different size collet on the .21's or if that is only for Picco's .12 engines???

I dug through the pile of different collets at my local hobby shop and found that the one for the AE RC10GT is the same as the 8ight. I've been running one of these for months now with no problem. I'm pretty sure that it's AE part number 7618. Less than $3.

On the collet like said above, Buy the one for the Losi Gas truck (1/10th scale). It comes by it's self (with 2 washers) and is the exact same one as provided in the 8 kit.

I found the right collet in my parts box from when we used to have gas trucks. I thought the angle was different but I think the angle is wrong on the flywheel. We have 2 8ights and mine fits good and my sons fits different.

Hello again, I am in the process of tearing apart my 8ight RTR and converting it to the kit and some. The problem is I dont have a setup sheet thats all filled in. Can someone send me a setup of a pro or even a setup that is guaranteed to work.
Please send to desireegianna@yahoo.com

Thanks.
