Looks like 5 Losi 8ights in the top ten, after round one, at the Silver State nitro challenge, led by Drake.

Looks like another Losi butt-kickin

Oh yeah only one AE in the top ten

You need the M2C 3T/3A rear plate set to use the weights. They will have 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ounce weight available to attach to the plate.

A while ago some people were asking about setup stations for the buggy...so I wrote this review on the TM setup station:Team Magic Setup Station Review

Drake said in one of the latest magazines to make sure the spring cup slot faces outward so it doesn't get knocked off as easy. ( I think, I didn't go reread it)
It also looks like Drake uses the front green spring on th rear in the pic? Anyone try this?

As for the slight bow in the chassis, I put a straight edge on both our eights (ran once) the both had a slight bow to them (upward in the middle, almost 1mm on one) I am a machinist and if you mill the pockets on the top it will bow the opposite way than it is. Maybe it is intentional or it gets some bow in it when they bend up the sides.

i use the mugen mbx5 collect, flywheel and clutch nut with the losi bearings and clutch bell. it lines up fine. you just need to shim it properly. on my v-spec, i need 1 3x5 shim to get the right end play. on my rex 421b, no shimming needed.

Finally ran the 8ight! Took me awhile to get use to it, but i can tell its going to be a sweet toy. Best day of rc'in i've had forever!

2 quick questions.

1. Are you guys using lock tight on your wheel nuts (or hexes, i dunno what you call them lol) I had one come off, and 2 were finger loose when I got home. i know i tightened them good.

2. whats a good brake par and how often should I replace them?

Thanks a bunch!
-William

i locktite the wheel hexes as it's metal on metal contact. as far as pads i've run thru 1.5 gallons so far and brakes still seem good, no fade.

Here is a pic of my 8ight, just wanted to snap a picture while it was still clean

The boy in pic#4 is my son Dylan, hes only 2yrs old and has driven the 8ight out in the street. The boy is nuts about RC. Get a good look, hes gonna be the next world champ.

Those arent decals, It was painted by BODZ, you can buy the bodies on Ebay, they average between $60 to $80.
