Thanks
Mike

I am running hte C6. I am using the werks clutch with the carbon shoes. I have two threads showing on the adjuster nut. It works perfect for most conditions. If it gets tacky, like when they wet it or if it is high tractions, it is engaging a bit early, so I turn it in another 1/2 turn.

How do you like the s7? I am thinking about trying it.

Antman450, Thanks, I used that clutch when they first came out & I loved the way it worked when it was working but mine would not stay adjusted & I finally gave up on it. As for the S7's, I've been running them since the "Europa" & I love them I still have everyone I ever bought & they all still run except the WS7II which I blew up (after about 15+ gallons). This failure was my fault as I ran the thing too lean (by accident) on a 95 deg day in a 1/2 hour main. They are very reliable, easy to tune and have great power for the money, most of all they LAST. The key is using the right pipe. I have found with a RB 192 or 198 header & the RB2020 pipe they work the best (have not tryed the 2045 yet). In the winter we run on a small covered clay track where most guys run a 13 or even 12 tooth clutch bell, I run a 14 on my losi on that track and have no problems with power. The only reason I'm even getting the new C6 is the S7s I have are so old the cranks are worn where the clutch rides & they are tearing up clutch bearings.

I don't think one of those big Gel Cell batteries will fit inside the Mugen box but I might be wrong. The Gel Cell I had would not. Maybe there are smaller ones that will.

If you want LiPo get the one from HTBatteries.com in it before the season actually starts. if not just use two stick packs. I have a friend that use that battery and box and it works great.

Well guys I picked up a nice 8ight from cwalters here on the boards and am looking to get an engine. Just looking for something that will hold a tune and be competitively fast. I was looking at the novarossi R21BF from amainhobbies. I know everyone has there own opinions so just let me know what you think. I don't really want to spend more than $200 for one. What do you guys think about the O.S. RG motors? Will they keep up with the rb's and others or won't it even come close?? My dad just got a V-spec and it has has a gallon of byron's 30% through it. I can get it from him for about $140. I've read that some people like them and others hate them. Does it just depend on if you've got a good one?? I am on page 40 on this thread and have read alot of valuable information. Man I'm only on page 40 and that took me 2 days to read Thanks for the help

Check out the "GO" motors. You can get them from www.tkocompetitiondev.com or carolinasrc. They have a 5 port and a 7 port version which are quickly becoming popular.

I have a NR 21BF, OS RG, SH PT2004 XB, and a Go Tech 5 port .21. Each motor has its purpose. Once you are intimately familiar with them you can decide which to use for the given track and conditions.

That stated, I must say that I gravitate towards the Go as of late. But It's the indoor season and the track is a high bite clay so I can utilize the massive power of the GO. The 9 1/2 mins of run time is great also.
