Well, I just finished getting mine all together and putting a few tanks of fuel through it. I thought it was a blast to build, just b/c everthing is so BIG (compared to all the on road stuff I am used to). Of course, having the Drake set up my linkages and engine was a huge help!

Can't wait to hit the track this weekend!

I am curious about lipo RX and TX packs...who makes them, where to get them, etc. Is a regulator required for the RX pack? What charger are you using for them, etc?

J.Filipow- Im useing some 950mah packs from his-herhobbies.com 2 cell. and im useing the novak servo regulator. I really like this set up. I can easiley make a hour main on a charged 950 mah pack and stil have 100mah left. Not to mention the servos feel the same threw the hole main, no drop off from the batteries looseing voltage. For the charger im useing a triton.

Rich- did you get those starter box, mat and wing decals mounted yet? I've been waiting to see them before I place my order.

Well I had the pleasure of having a Futaba digital servo burn up on me today. It crapped out on me and stuck the throttle wide open on the straight. I guess it is user error even though I had a kit with a shortened ball end, my epa’s were set up correct, when brakes were applied the spring still had some play in it, and the rod was straight and nothing was binding, but like I said must be user error.. It would be a bit better if it was a servo gear stripped, but the motor is fried, oh well $90 down the tube.
