-also make sure you slot the rear mount holes to allow for chassis flex about 6-8 mm foward should be enough

man your paint looks like my friends body check this out

Yesterday I had my very first real race with the 8T.
After having some practice with the box stock set up from the race roller.
I ownly adjusted the front ride hight and the truck was absolutaly ripping.
I did do quick laps frome the start and othere racers came up to me and where asking what I did the last few weeks.
They knew me frome last season and where wondering.
The last few weeks I did not do any driving so it must be the car.
I ended in the 32nd spot after this day out of 91 its not bad fore me.
Next season ther must be a few times a spot in the A-final.
So I am fery happy with this ride.
All I can say about this car is that its SMOOOOOOTH an fast.

Default setup help?

I read thru nearly this entire thread looking for some setup info...seems like this thread is mainly filled with fixes

I just got a 8T RTR. I pulled the radio gear and engine. I installed new radio gear and a OS VSpec. I'm familiar with all the fixes, but looking for some tuning suggestion.

Specifically:

-shock oil weight / piston
-front/center/rear diff oil weight
-ride height
-droop

I race on a high traction, 100% clay track.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated-
Eric

Sorry TC, but the stock set-up works the best for most situations. The truck just works, and works good. So the only thing one needs to do is try out different changes and see if you like it. The only change I have made was to move the rear inner camber link down a hole. Other than that, tires and clutch shoes is all I have ever changed.

Air8, what kind of track do you run on?

High bite, 100% indoor clay is a very unique track surface. Typical, out of the box setups don't perform as well on my track. I don't believe people are getting the most out of this truggy running the factory installed grease in the RTR diffs.

I have plenty of RC experience, but not much with a truggy. I'm stuck with very limited track time, so just looking to get on the right track...for my track

thanks
