I put a small cut in my tire's side wall and was wondering what is the best way to patch it up.

My 8T is posted up in the closet due to waiting for this damn starter box. I'm hoping it'll be out within a few weeks. I've been using random starter boxes that other 8T owners have modified to start thiers the 2 times I've been to the track with it.

Same here. When it comes out i will buy the 8T put my Mach .26 on the T and finally use my REX motor on my 8. I have to sit by each weekend and watch all the fun in truggy class. It's pretty good racing here in Kansas. On our local track the truggies turn faster lap times than the buggies. We have a new gnarly outdoor track. It's sweet. I really hate waiting though.

Have you tried CA glue yet? If it is an actual hole in the tire, ....then....fill it with peanut butter. lol

why wait on something as little as a starter box when you can use your own and just buy a top plate for your box. i took my old jammin top plate and cut it out to fit my 8ight-t or you can just buy a top plate made for the 8ight-t
frfom the link above.

Unfortunately for me, i don't even own a starter box. So I'd hate to buy one for three weeks and then have it sit around forever. But I already have cabinets, tables, desks, and floors covered in RC stuff so that box would probably go un-noticed anyways. lol

I am using the Ofna Blue box W/the 775 motors (the new truggy one i think) without pins and it works great, I did get one of the plates from the post above (thanks) and will use it for racing purposes

I'm using the dynamite platinum series box. Works fine. I've got it setup to use three pins.

This box has worked like a charm for me for 2 months. Cheap and works excellent. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXMPP5&P=ML

You have to Dremel a small strip on the back of the box and fold it up to make a placement peg. Kinda hard to explain, but if someone ends up getting the same box, just shoot me a PM and I'll take a pic. A pic will explain it all.

my answer to the pesky starter box problem ,you can seriously close your eyes ,put the 8T on the box & start it ,thats how well this thing works ,no movement just perfect,,,,may not look all that great but all it does is start a truggy ...

I need to make a cut on the other side in the back to form another placement peg. The one's been working fine,so far.
