I've been going fine with the OFNA 10249 (narrower black box with chrome top) starter box. I use one for both my 8ight buggy and truggy with no modifications to the box or the chassis of the cars. However, if you want to use all 4 pins for the truggy, you will probably need to drill a couple holes in the starter box for the rear pins. I'm only using 2 pins right now because I'm sharing 1 box for the box and moving the pins to marks I've put on the box.

correct, The race roller was actually a compromise between losi and horizon. Losi wanted only kits, horizon wants only RTRs. The race roller was born.

It will work if you buy the King Headz motor mounts.

It will work. You just need to use the Losi clutch bell.

Hockey the x5 box fits perfect and uses all 4 alignment posts no problem. Best box out!

I agree, the X5 box is VERY good. It works perfectly using 4 posts for my 8 buggy.
