Anybody having issue's with slow speed steering? My truck has a push at off power and I tried different tires and tried a smaller sway bar in front.

Try going to #5-a rear camber link (you'll need to cut the turnbuckle like .060"-.100" shorter per side or it will bottom out in the ball cups leaving you with like +5* camber), go to the 3/3 rear plate, and then run 2 spacers in front of the rear hubs.

Check the ride height. I don't run the Losi 8 but many of my friends do and the ride height is critical on that buggy. I would check it before every run as it'll change depending on any setup changes, the car getting weighted down with dirt, different height tires, etc.

Does the 8T's manual describe where to measure ride height? I will probably buy mine tomorrow. Why is this hobby so expensive. It's gotta be the thrill factor. HE HE. Is front ride height measured behind the front a arms, and then the rear ride height measured below the rear toe block? Thanx

I have #1406

I just ran mine for the first time thos past Sunday. Didn't do too much with it though cause I'm breaking in the Picco P7R .21 I have in it. I'm also using a Dynamite 053 pipe on it. Just running it around the track the 8T seems to be well balenced. I can't wait to run some more tanks through this engine and start tuning it more and get some speed out of it.

I have had better balance with the stock tire pattern.... Man those thing's hookup on anything! Wear kinda quick though.......I try not to Swell them,Get a few more runs out of them that way.

Have you had any more issues with your Truggy?
How many run's on your Shocks? And Diff's....What Servo are you runnin?
Sorry for al the questions..Butt slow speed push.could be alot of factor's..........

Is the truggy Free Rolling....When off....Will it roll across the kitchen floor.....
Gear mess will jack it up.......The rear brake Linkage is touchy....
Like i said could be several thing's.........Im sure you will figure it out soon,,,,mine will turn on a dime on or off Throttle.........most likely it is something simple........

What is the average price of the 8T?

I thought my hobby shop would get me a better deal because I buy all that I can from him. I went to the store to practice with my buggy last night and maybe buy the T. But, he is asking like $650. It sounds a little too close to retail for me. Right now I drive the 8b and loving it. I want to get the truggy but not get ripped off. I have driven a few of the other guys' T's and they feel great. If it is close to what others are priced, then so be it. But just wanting others opinions.
Thanx

If they were that price here I could get a JP-3 pipe also. Hmmm. Too bad I guess, I'll just wait. I want to support the LHS but not get screwed.

What starter box are you guys running without hassle?I need to buy one that I don't need to chop up my chassis or mod the box too extensively. Thanks in advance!

I use the Team Magic X-5 starter box works great. The only downside is that you can only get three pins for the wheel allignment, because the chassis covers the fourth. Also with any starter box you get take your time alligning it, take off your motor and look through the flywheel slot for the starter wheel and make sure that it is perfectly alligned.

Good luck

I took mine to the track yesterday for the 2nd time and the JR 650 throttle servo decided to take a crap on me. I didn't even get 1/4 of the way around the damn track.
