I'm thinking of getting a losi one, but since the Castle Link is rated at 10A and the Losi is 5A, I'm not sure. So I was wondering if I'll have the same problem with the Losi regulator. I thought for a sec or two I'd run without one, but the servos were WAY too fast.........

running unregulated depends on Rx and servo's.....if you got both that can take 7.4+ then why not....turn down the speed on the radio if need be...I run the losi regulator with no issues.

I just got a 8ight-T RTR for a birthday gift. Question is what the difference between the Race Roller and the RTR truggy beside the RTR comes with the electronics and engine, etc? I wanted to upgrade my RTR to race specs. Oh and im using the Losi Lipo with the Losi regulator on a futaba 4pk with S9351 servos. No problem so far.

Change the F/R Shock towers, Chassis, clean the grease out all three diffs and put diff oil in them, change the motor mounts and get a bump box, change the shock caps from plastic to alunimum.

Those stone filters came apart a lot on me when the 8ight first came out. I had 3-4 of them seperate. So I came on here to ask and a guy recommended soldering the nipple and the filter together. Same thing when the T came out I broke one stone filter and soldered the two pieces together.

Anyways, your responses answer my question. LOL.

Is this the team losi aluminum horn or plastic? If its aluminum make sure the splines are lined up, it may take a bit of pressure to put on but not much make sure you got the right horn aswell.

When I put the AL on my Hitec servo I had to give it a little "persuasion" to get it on. Getting it back off is the real trick........

Thanks hambone

med To large Side cutter's....lay them across the rx box and lightly squeeze between the horn the top case....dont squeeze too hard or you will scare up the splines.

Stay away from the Dragon chassis. A fellow teammate had one on his Mugen MBX5T and it broke where the engine mount holes are! The stock chassis or the TFT chassis is the way to go. If you don't want to spend the money on the TFT chassis then stock Losi chassis can be had on ebay for around $50. Just my 2 cents
