whats the best wing and body combo that will fit with the 8t?

One of my buddies had to hack the Crowd Pleazer to get it to fit. He just trimmed everthing off the back excetp where the body mount holes are, he left enough around them for strength.

I couldn't tell ya man. I've only used the Losi shell. It took a while for the look to grow on me, but after seeing what else is out I like the Losi the best.

There is one company (I can't remember right now) that made a low profile, swooping shell with a little air flow ducts in the front windsheild and out the rear window. I liked that in the pics I saw, but like I said, I can't remember who that was.

I tried the proline crowd pleazure but it's a pain to get on and off under the stock Losi Wing. I have a proline high-downforce wing I tried on it and the proline body wouldn't even fit on with their own wing. IMO, Stick with the losi body.

i've run the jconcepts body as i've always liked JC Stylings. However i think the plastic is too thick and it tends to crack even easier than the losi body. It also changes the way the car handles because it sits up higher in the air.

I'd stick with the stock body.

I run a JC body and JC Wing with zero fitment issues....and imo the shell is uber tough.

Yep that's it. I've seen one of these and person and they look pretty good to me. Smooth yet really racey, or aggressive. Something like that. LOL.

RJS---did you get your engine straightened out? I hate when things like that happen. There is so many possibilities, hard to narrow it down. After giving the engine at least 3-4 minutes to warm up your temp should be higher than 200, UNLESS it's a GRP Tuned engine.

Maybe Vapor Lock?

By: John Adams

"If you've ever had your engine flame out after a reasonably long run and then found it nearly impossible to re-start, you may have experienced vapor lock. Vapor lock normally occurs after the engine is shut off. Heat from the head and combustion chamber transfers through the crankcase, heating the carburetor to the point that the fuel that reaches the carburetor through the fuel line boils off. This makes it impossible to start the engine because it's starved for fuel. The only way to get the engine to run is to cool the carburetor below the fuel's boiling point.

Compressed CO2 sprayed directly onto the carburetor is a great way to prevent vapor lock during long main flame-outs."
