Ok, so those are the factory settings. So if I go a turn rich on the HSN and 1/2 a turn rich on the LSN, that'd be good for run in?
You beat me to the underhead, I just checked a-main and ta-da! http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/4046
I had a look earlier but couldn't find it.

I'm going to go with the heat cycling method, similar to what someone mentioned on the first page of the thread.

i heat cycled mine ive got about three gallons through mine the pinch is so tight you cant turn it over with a fly wheel on it... i never have trouble clearing jumps and never get motored down the stright.... i run the 7mm insert and an medium cold plug with 20%byrons.. the pipe i use is a jp3.. nad on good days i can get 7 almost 7and a half minutes... engine is real rich a 220,,, but as soon it hits 230-240its a monster

This motor is great! I haven't got the 'K' version yet and was wondering if there was a big diffrence.

the 21-5k uses an onroad style 7 port block that has seperate fuel diverters for vertical side ports and uses the standard p5 p/s with the r7 rod and has the drilled lightened head . the engine is a lil more efficient and even smoother than the 21-5 . one of the best engines of all time from nova is a plus 21-7t !!!! badass machine .
later, monty
oh and by the way all long stroke nova p/s sets will work in the plus series , 421b, 621b, 821b p/s sets are different though, longer stroke duration, smaller bore, 8 ports !!

I've put over 3 gallons (12 litres) through mine now and it still goes like a wild animal!
I found i had to run a hotter plug though after about 5-7 litres as it kept flaming out with a colder plug.
I put a C2TC in it and it is back to full noise and no problems.
I'm going to strip it down and check to see if it's ok inside.
I hope so.
