Novarossi- 28-8 stock if have some experience get it modded. Either way best big block on the market I. My opinion.

I've had very good luck with the Dynamite Big Red .28 engine in my Savage. Just don't rely on the pullstarter, it doesn't have a bushing inside for the pull cord and will eat that cord alive within a few pulls.

I can't tell you what is the best big block nitro engine, but I'm curious what is wrong with the Nitro Star 4.6 engine you have now? Is it malfunctioning, overheating, underpowered, or something else?
