Default Long chassie conversion

Just picked up a long chassie kit for my S-3 and was just wondering, how long should the front and rear chassie braces be? The instructions are a little gray in this area. Any ideas would help, guessing can be a headache.

Wow! I had to Buy it! RPM is moving to another class,
I'm hooked on my S3 so, his former Team TTR S3 Kit will stay within My Club!! R.C.R.E.

I think the one chassis is a Titan tech, @ 5mm thick,325mm wheel base.
The braces are in so the measure is tough to do, Rear Brace @ 120.2mm
top mounted to the Right, inside of forward wing mnt, bottom with @ 8mm deflection right of center.
Front Brace @ 75?mm btm mounted @ 10mm left of ctr.

Wow! these cars are sooo cool,
[ there is going to be a Racer L.S.T. 1 for sale]

Going to Go! Practice now,Race-Ya later

Love mine... not just saying that because I'm with TTR/HobbyCraft Canada either. To be honest I did not like it at all indoors. The setup was horrible with it though. I just ran it with a buddy's setup with my own homemade flatchassis conversion from a delta box chassis and it was AMAZING. I still have to make a couple small changes though.

I'm running

7-5-3 for diff fluids
Xray 1.5 pistons drilled to 1/16th with AE oils
35 front (trying 30 in the front next time) and 30 in the rear
Red springs (will try Xray Blues next time out)
2.5 degree rear toe...
shock postioning is outter on both front and back on the arms... most inner position on the front tower on the bottom row, most outer in the rear on the bottom row.
Ride height is level upfront and just below level in the rear
1.5 degree camber all the way around
1 degree toe out

Should be a decent start for you if you get one...

After running mine in its first race and my first time running the buggy since picking the S3 out I am impressed. The buggy has tons of tuning potential and makes quick turns, now mind you I only had the delta box chassis and I am now about to install the longer flat chassis, so I have not yet begun to tap into the full capabilities of this car. I can say it is a fine car and worth the investment.

Figure out what this 1/8 scale ,TTR EB4 S3 "Race Car" is doing!?!

So since I've bien GOOD ,,,,
I'm heading out to the track with a truck load of S3,,, and,

Since the Edmonton Tradesman job market is soo HOT!!
I don't go back to work at my New job with my Old Employer Untilll the 23rd!!!!

OH MAN! Boogety! Boogety! Boogety!

Wow! Big change in my car with the flat chassis!

Biggest Improvement has got to be how it handles the rhythm section,,,,and
It straighten's out easier on power, oversteer later and slower I can brake later and shorter.

This was a T.T.R. Team car and has many many hrs/gall thru it.
Only one of the susp' blk, pivot ball's comes out rellativley easy
The Rr diff pinion is worn @ 60% [ was allways run greased & wiped]
The front arms have bein done with heli-coils and lite pillow balls
None of the steering linkage pivot balls have a shoulder on them
Lots of S/S screws.
My Box chassis is a new car [@ 2gall,] and in comparison is as smooth as the Box it came in

I've got a second generation Titan Tech chassis with all parts for sale if someone needs one. I installed and fitted everything, but never ran it so it's scratch free like new. I'll also include a front top plate that I drilled to fit the front torque rod better. PM if you're interested. Thanks!!

Are the servo arms that come with the S3 kit are they Airtronics??
Seem to fit a Hi-Tech,but not a JR, was told their Airtronics?

I've had issues with my thrl/brk,HS925MG.
Switched to the JR Z590 that comes with the DX3 Radio and nothing fit's....again.

The HS925MG was great, till it Quit responding untill you gave it a little push?
As long as I kept it moveing it would work but ,Stop Sig, Stopped Servo!
What could that be?!?[besides rubish]
Would like to put a couple of servo's in there with no DSM or otherwise BAD History.

The Proline Crowdpleaser 2.0 for the S3 buggy. It's one specially designed for the TTR. The Mugen one will work as well, just needs a little more trimming.
