Piston pin compatibility for Dynamite Mach 2 Big Red
How's everyone doing today?
I recently bought a new engine which was the Dynamite .28 Big Red for my Savage X because the piston pin shattered inside the F 4.6 engine completely destroying the piston and sleeve. I was looking for parts and noticed that Dynamite discontinued the actual piston pin requiring the purchase of the piston and sleeve as a set, and the connecting rod separately. I was wondering if anyone knows which piston pin would be compatible with this engine. The only one I can find that fits a .28 engine is one from OS. Will this one work? I found the discontinuation of the pin to be extremely weird.

Take it out and measure it. That's the only way you know what's going to fit. You may also be able to use a generic industrial pin.
