Picked up stock hobbywing ESC and shorty pack wondering how to set it in the buggy. Is it better to have battery all the way back center or forward. Any advice would be great.

I typically ran mine with three or 4 foam blocks in the rear so basically was not completely back but close to center. It really depends on track conditions too, that's what is great about shortys, if you need more traction in the rear, then move it back.

I run mine smack dab in the center. But it does let you move it around for personal preference.
