Default 2wd SC Class

I may try to run the 2wd SC class. It has all of the requirements to run minus better tires. The titan brushed motor should hold up fine but I could always swap in the VXL system from the 4x4. Is the meeting at the end of Feb open to anyone or a select few?

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting. It is a great way to meet some of the racers and ask questions. Your 2wd with the titan would work just fine for the nespek class. If you toss the vxl in your 2wd it would work for the mod SC class. Or we will be looking at possibly running the vxl system on 50% throttle in the nespek class. This is something that still needs to be tested before its approved.

Default Meeting

Sounds good. The vxl esc i was going to use in the 2wd went south. The button sticks down so it cycles thru modes non stop. My daughter and i will try to make it to the meeting, weather permitting.

Get at least some 30C lipos at around 4000mah. Most of the racers like 5000mah when running the 10 mains. You can run on as little as 3200mah but you will be pushing it on a main if you make it at all.

Default Ecx circuit

I posted a pic of my daughters ecx. All is upgraded except the steering which still has a ton of slack in it. Does anyone (or a friend of a friend of anyone) know what can be done to fix this? I am getting her a trx 2056 servo for her 6th birthday and need suggestions on linkages.

I can't help much on the slop in the steering since I haven't run a ECX or even handled one. About the only thing I can say is to check your servo saver to make sure its tight enough. Also all off road cars are going to have some kind of play in the steering but since this is the only car that you mention and you said you have others I am guessing this is worse than normal. Just take your time and look carefully at all the moving parts. Turn the front wheels by hand back and forth slowly to see if you can see anything moving more than it should.

Default Ecx circuit

The slop runs thru the whole front end from the hub to the bellcrank and up to the servo. I am going to start with the servo and steering links and see where that gets me. It looks like it could be an over generous servo saver now that u mention it. Thanks again for the advice.

My daughter and I will be coming to the meeting if everything goes according to plan. Who should I ask for when we arrive?

We will be in the party room at the south locust pizza hut. Just come on in and have a seat. If you would like to talk to someone right away then Al is the club president and he will be there. Otherwise pretty much all of the racers are nice people and you can talk to any of them also.

Well that was fast Andy. Aparently all you needed was for a 4x4 SC class to start up to get that thing to sale.
What classes are every one planning on running? What are you going to run on points days and what are you going to run on non points or trophy days. My current plan as long as there is enough is to run 2wd stock buggy and 1/8 buggy for points, than alternate between 2wd and 4wd SC on non points and trophy days.
