Talking Fastest at the plex!

More of a fun topic and hard to compare with changing tracks, but who are the fastest drivers at the plex? On road and off road consistently or single lap records. I thought it might be an interesting discussion. Feel free to post your best laps or races as well as the date and your vehicle

I'm not a fast racer but ill go first to maybe get this rolling. I know that my fast laps are generally 4 or 5 seconds slower than the fast guys in my slash lcg. I was around a second faster in my lx2e than my pro 2 spec truck, but it was my first race and still have a lot to learn. I race vta occasionally inside and I like to think I can be a B-main contender, but the A-main guys are way faster than me. I am a pretty casual hobby racer and enjoyed my run at plexspec glory with two 3rd place finishes on Friday nights and an A-main bump on my solo Tuesday night run.

Every single racer that shows up is trying their hardest to be the fastest every race. Everyone for the most part also tries to drive courteously. in my opinion, we have a lot of fast guys and gals at the track and a great group of people. Any one race, any one night, it could be anyone's turn to take the win. Also, with as many classes as we run during the week, the list of fast drivers in their respective classes would be rather long lol.

All in all, every driver we have is fast. The secret is consistency

Friday was my first pro 2 night and Alex was lined up right behind me, immediately started shooting really wide on the corners to get out of the way. I think corner 3 and he was gone.

I think some of the vta guys could have "speed parallel parking competitions" they control their cars so well; I just try to stay out of the walls. anyone who hasn't seen carpet, a good vta a-main looks like a model train they are so close sometimes.

I've been in one of those trains and I hate it... Especially if your the leader of it, things get outta hand quickly but it's way fun to bump draft the whole straight

Here's what I know about carpet. "Don't walk on it" and I suck at it.
