I'm sure Alex will be going through the classes soon and "filling" out the heats. There are probably 1-5 spots left in each class.

Not sure how he'll do it, maybe there will be a Lotto like the reedy race..lol

Well, we lost internet at work today and it won't be back on until sometime tomorrow. So unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the list going today.

I am currently signed up for the SCB class with an X-factory vehicle. this is basically an Associated SC10B with the Xfactory SCX60CF conversion and a Losi body. It is not an all in one kit, (for the buggy, it is made for the truck) but is made up of all off the shelf parts. I would love to be able to run it with all of you guys but If you fellow racers or the race organizers feel it is an unfair advantage, I understand and will get another car to run the class with.

Though I personally don't see any harm in running it, I'm not sure if its entirely within the "spirit" of the class. And being that this is an event that is open to anyone in the world, again, I'm not sure how these things pan out. On club nights, the racing field has an "unspoken" agreement on tires and motors, but there really isn't any official rules. Alex lets us set it up as we wish and lets us monitor it on our own (though there hasn't been any need to "monitor" anything...the races continue to be very close and its a bunch of good guys running them). Having the Novak race spec'ing handout ESCs and motors with a potential gear limit will be the first time we've actually been subjected to any official "rules", at least here in Omaha. I'm anxious to see if tightens up the racing even more.

Also, on rcsignup, Alex makes this statement: The class is open to all production SCB's. (Losi, AE, Kyosho.) So again, not sure where a converted X-Factory would fit in.

I have what may be a good alternate to your question...I have a complete Losi SCB chassis sitting here idle. It only needs electronics and it would be race ready. You're more than welcome to run it at the Novak race and you're welcome to get it well in advance so you can get it prepped.

Either way, it should be a really fun class for everyone at Novak

If nobody else takes you up on your offer, I would gladly run your SCB at the Novak race :-)

Alex,
I called you Wed about getting Hudson signed up for the plexspec class. I didn;t get on the site til today and saw you had 5 openings. I called the store today and they said to wait until you came in. I see that someone needs 4 spots. If you have the one that is great.
Hudson Frank- Plexspec class

Thanks.

The Novak race is now 350 entries. Completely full.

If you would like to be put on the waiting list you can call the store. If there are any cancellations, slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

There's not a lot on the waiting list, but I get calls about every other day.

Because each heat is full, changing classes will be a hard thing to do. You can be put on the waiting list.

Here is the waiting list...

2wd Mod buggy

Kevin Beedle
Mike Richardsen
Wes Hicks
Andrew Kane
Cody Hollis

Stock Buggy

4wd SCT

Johnny Power
Dale Oxenhardt
Jordan Olson
Ben Dilla
Calvin Viernes

2wd mod SCT

Anthony Santi
Matt Miller
David Drabek
Jamee Everson
lee Conley Jr
Nick Edgington
Cody Hollis

Mod truck

Chris Buchanan
Wes Hicks
Cody Hollis

Stock Truck

Wayne Robison

17.5 SCT
Ryan Risley
Lee Conley Jr
Neil Pestka

4wd Modified

Andrew Kane
Mike Garrison
Taylor Timmerman
Daniel Hooten

Also, It is extremely important to get me the correct transponder #'s. It will make Friday a lot less stressful. Either PM or message me on Facebook, or even e-mail them to me.

One more thing...

I put 6-minute qualifiers down on the flyer. With this many entries and the prospect of having a near 15 hour day on Saturday, I'm going to change that to 5-minutes. It will save us 1 1/2 hours of sitting around of Saturday. Lower mains will still be 6-minutes and A-mains will still be 8-minutes.
