Thumbs up THANKS!!!

Been some really good racing over this fall & "winter" season.

Another great enduro and a really fun TCS race but, the Winter Series has been down a bit. I'd like to finish up big and see if we can get a better turnout for the last race on March 18 so put it on your calendar!!

Wednesdays have been going pretty good with four more weeks left in the winter point series. With F1s and Minis making a comeback, the numbers have been bumped up a bit, hope to keep it going.

Thanks,

Tim Ski

Thanks again Tim for letting us RCMTS EDM racers come down at race at your track. As always it was a well run show and we all had a great time.

It's been OK. We race once a month on a Sunday but we still get a better turnout on Wednesdays.

Saturday was great, thank all your guys for coming down. We'll have to get you down once a month next season.

Thanks,

It will be interesting to see if this sparks a good debate this time.
I don't run any timing anyway, so I'm good with it.

so what exactly is your concern?

You want Blinky mode? I'm already there.

You want unbelted tires? The belted last a long time, and was why it was chosen for our track. Personally, I don't want to play the tire game, but if others want to try different tires I wouldn't care as long as can still run belted.

I'm guessing that it's a speed issue . . . .

So I'm guessing that the X-Patterns we're running are belted tires?

ya just kinda open it up a bit on tires, but lock up the speed controls. i know its been a while since i was up there to race gt but thats why i quit racing gt...the timing was starting to get out of hand. i dont want to start an uprising, just wanting to get insite and ideas to see if people are actually interested. ok cool

X-patterns are available both belted & non-belted.

No offense but limiting the fast guys to blinky really isn'y going to change things. The fast guys are still going to beat us just not so badly

IMO practice would do us moderate drivers more good than changing the rules.

Damn, framing a wall tonight instead of racing...

Don't know about the fast guys but I've been running blinky off and on for a while. Even went Orange a while ago so permanently blinky now! GTB for the win.

I've found that if I run the motors within a tooth of melting down its just SLIGHTLY slower overall. Definitely less punch on the straight but easier to drive and hit the line on the infield.
Although it makes passing a little more of a challenge. Just makes it that much more important to TQ......

And you definitely have to manage how and when you push the car or everyone smells how hard you are trying.

Tire wise, why change a good thing?
