I am down for sure. I know one thing that will not happen this time like the last time I attended a regionals and thats fall in a mud hole after it rained. some the other locals from Omaha were taking bets on who would fall first and when and they all pointed at me and guess what happened. Good times

So Alex, what's the story on SCT? I've heard talk of running them at the 1/8 electric nats or they could be ran on this race. Since your affilliated with ROAR I thought you might have some insight as to how there going to handle the SCT classes?

4x4 SCT will definitely be at this race.

Not at our nats though.

They are listed as a class at the 1:10 nationals in Sacremento.

Here's the flyer. I'll try to set some time aside to get rcsignup set up tonight. By the end of the week for sure.

Looking forward to this one!

I have a couple of questions, as I've never been to an official ROAR event:

Do we need to get a ROAR membership prior to the race or will there be an option for a one race/weekend membership?

Regarding the non-timing ESC, can you use an ESC with timing as long as the timing is disabled?

Are there any restrictions regarding tires? (I'm planning on running the 17.5 Buggy and Stadium Truck classes)

Are PT's required or will house transponders be available? I'm covered, but I have a friend that doesn't currently have one.

Sorry for all of the questions, but I'm just trying to get things squared away.

Thanks!

Regarding the non-timing ESC, can you use an ESC with timing as long as the timing is disabled? Yes, that is what as known as blinky mode.

hmm, The airforce dropped a big inspection right on top of my plans to race the shortcourseshowdown in sept down here in Dallas so I might have to make this race. How restrictive will the rules be for batteries? I have two hardcase saddle packs for my Durango vehicles but neither have the "roar approved" stickers on them.

I would say anything that "you" run has to be illegal. LOL... I think you need to send all your equipment to ROAR to get approved.
