Guys.. May I know what time will the Hobbyplex open till next Friday?

I guess I might not be able to make it for practice which is bad as I come from 4 hours away.

Back to the question. Does anybody have the problem of having too much drag brakes when you switch to a ratio of 5.8 on a tekin as compared to the usual 4.2 on a normal esc?
The drag brakes on my tekin is already off, I guess it might be due to the small pinion.

What chassis are you running? I'm running a TA05 and with a 102 spur (64-pitch) I have no trouble with any binding or drag brake effect. Are you sure your mesh isn't too tight in spots? Is your drivetrain free when you take the pinion off? Are you running the stock rotor, or a crawler variant?

Man, I wish I could. But unfortunately I am flying, so my box o' tricks is limited to 50 lbs or less.

I use the ta05ifs.drivetrain is smooth.spur was 96.I guess I might try using a bigger spur and see how it goes.I know the car slows down faster as compared to a ratio of about 4.
Anyhow, are you maxing out the advance timing?I actually used the setup from the tekin website.some guy by the name jeff..

GT3 (silver can sedan class) eats silver can motors. If they are allowed to get over 160f at the comm more than once they are toast. I would have at least 2 new motors for the event.

I like that Fairlady Z body more than I thought I would. I didn't know they were available yet, or I might have gotten one of those instead of the Abarth. Oh well, with a 13.5k rule on the motors, I don't think a body is going to make much of a difference anyway.

Man do I need to get away from this place for a while. Last week a local 14 year old shot his "gang buddy" in the head in the middle of a school hallway, and today a PhD from my university (UAH) shot and killed three co-workers because she wasn't granted tenure. Crazy times for this otherwise quiet little town!!!!
See what V203 did to people........and the weather such as global warming...

Can HobbyPlex blocks about 10 drivers from Chicago? I know couple of the member will be there Friday, but the rest will be there Friday/SAT AM time...just want to make sure we have our pit instead of pitting outside the off road track with SNOW...

Your pit spot will be on the off-road tracks drivers stand.... Bring a jacket or two...
