My two Weber Motorsports drivers unfortunately had to bail because they need to fly tonight as their flight was canceled yesterday. They are both in the Air Force. The team hauler will be there looking for drivers who want to have a fun time, and represent Weber Motorsports in good light. We have everything to run Mini and VTA, except for drivers.

Kiger? Duncan? Crossons? Do you guys have teams?

I can probably run! If you are looking for the W I am probably not your driver but I am willing to have a good time racing!

Augie and I really miss everyone at the plex!

He was excited about doing an enduro with pops but I couldn't get the schedule to work.

How did it go?

Brutal! At least for Team Tortoise. We ran both Enduros and I could have used a nap between them Broken parts & long pit times killed us, definitely room for improvement. Still loads of fun -lots of action.

Man was that FUN!!!

Seven teams in each race was awesome!! Here was the lineup for all the teams.

1.2 Hour Mini
Weber Motorsports - Jeff Weber, Dan Kiger, Nick Rodgers
Team Tortoise - Bernie Beck, Ken Bailey, Jim Hungate
Team 4 Eyes - Paul Dailey, Curtiss Driver, Jason Hall
Team Checkered Flag - Mark Ebner, Mark Gengenbach, Josh Duncan
Team Iron Gerbals - Nathan & Sam Gengenbach, Dillon Voelker
Team Golden Weasels - Mason & Matt Ebner, Pat Voelker
Team 420 - Jason Perotto, Ryan Leahy, Matt Wilcox

1.2 Hour Trans Am
Team Ski - Tim Ski, Craig Maline, Steve Javorsky
Team Tortoise - Bernie Beck, Ken Bailey, Jim Hungate
Team 4 Eyes - Paul Dailey, Curtiss Driver, Jason Hall
Team Z, Bob & the Fat Kid - Mark Z, Bob Roegge, BJ Benesh
Weber Motorsports - Jeff Weber, Dan Kiger, Nick Rodgers
Team Checkered Flag - Mark Ebner, Mark Gengenbach, Josh Duncan
Team Screamin' Weasels - Kerry Burns, Mike Wiblishouser, Clint Thelen

In the Mini race, Team 4 Eyes and Team 420 traded the lead off pitstops throughout the race. It could have come down to the wire as past Mini races have but, with five minutes left, Team 4 Eyes was struck by a mechanical and could not return to the track. With 4 Eyes out, Weber Motorsports took advantage and crossed the line just before the tone went off to make 216 laps to pass into second over all with Team 420 taking the win.

In TA, Team SKI drove away early and nearly put two laps on the field. Team 4 Eyes, on a different "fuel" strategy then the rest, Team Z, Bob & The Fat Kid and Weber Motorsports raced for 2nd, 3rd & 4th. At 70 laps, Team SKI made their tire stop and dropped to 5th. Both Team Z,B&FK and Weber Motorsports made their first stops by lap 88 as Team 4 Eyes kept going past 100 laps. Just past the 100 lap mark, Team SKI, having charged back to 2nd, was off with a broken ballstud. At 112 laps, Team 4 Eyes made their first pit stop and relinquished the lead to Weber Motorsports. After a brief battle with Weber Motorsports, Team 4 Eyes took back the lead at lap 126 and never trailed again. Team SKI, after their early misfortune, raced back to be within a half lap of Team Z,B&FK in 2nd but, with three laps to go, had to stop for "gas" and settled for 3rd.

Congrats to Team 420 in Mini and Team 4 Eyes in TA on your wins!!

You can see all the final results HERE

Thanks to all the racers who participated, hope everyone had a good time. Thanks Tom "TQ HOBBS" Quedensley for calling both races and to Chris Burke for the Little King subs, they were delicious!

We may have to do this again on a Wednesday before our BIG Enduro January 31st. We'll see what happens.

See everyone this weekend for the final races of 2009!!

Good times in enduro racing! Thanks to Nick and Dan for helping me out of a jam, and piloting the Weber Motorsports Mini and VTA entries to solid finishes on short notice!

Nice photos, Steve. It's cool seeing the minis catch a little air.

Thanks for also documenting a typical 420 pass.
