Thanks for coming out everyone. The trank had a few issues but for the first race day it was pretty good. It will be better this coming weekend.
Mini Late Model rules---
Right now, the rules are---
Box stock with a couple of exceptions.
1 You can change electronics.
2 You can run Lipo Battery. I can't remember which one but I will let you know on tuesday.
That is what they are right now. Over these first couple of weeks, we are trying to find out what people want to run. Then we can finalize the rules.

Is there racing this sunday?
Who all is planning on being there. If you guys that ran in Lincoln this week are looking for a smooth track to run, this is the place.

Yep, we are racing sunday.
We will start at 1pm or so. We want to finish up between 5 and 5:30 so we will adjust depending on turnout.
Hope to have more cars this week.

Congrats Soltau!!!
What time do the races start next Sunday? What is the entry fee? Is there any other payout other than the winner? 2nd or 3rd get anything? What are the rules for the 1/8 late model class? How late do you guys think this will run into the day?
Sorry for all the questions. Thinking about coming up but also will be in Joplin, MO Saturday night. Three hours east and back Saturday then four and a half hours north and back Sunday. Humm

Racing will start between 1 and 2 pm depending on turnout. We try to finish up around 5:30pm.
Payout is only for the winner.
Entry fee is $10 for the first entry and $5 for a second entry.
We are using the NSCS rules.

Nice track, I see why some of the Fireball Classic racers wanted to get out to I-80 Speedway last Sunday. While I am not an oval guy, I printed out and passed the info along to a friend of mine who enjoys dirt oval. He went as far as to build a track in his backyard. I think he has nitro and electric 1/10th scales. Hopefully he makes it out there, although he is pretty busy running his own tree service company. Just trying to build up the sport of R/C.

$100 to win this SUNDAY!!!
$100 to the winner of the 1/8 late model "A" feature this Sunday at I-80 Speedway. This track is exceptionally smooth and maintained. It is swept and watered in between each round of qualifying and mains. The show is run great and everyone is great to work with. We are running the Late Models, 1/10 sprint cars, 1/10 stadium trucks, Slash, and 1/8 buggy classes. It would great to see a few more Sprint Cars make it out. If you have not been to the track yet come on out this Sunday at 1:00 and see for yourself. This is the place to be for dirt racing on Sundays!!!
