this past sun there was a good bit of interest in running vta. the people i talked with want to run just as the rules are for USVTA with no exceptions but a fdr of about 3.50 ish to keep from making to hard for some cars to gear to much more than that and keep the racing close. i will have mine there this sat.

You could use a pilot head if any of the local hobby shops carry them. Fighter pilots come with helmets.

I would like to see us use U.S.V.T.A. rules with no changes, but thats not going to happen.

We should use R.O.A.R. rules for the speed controls this season, but
1.) Limit motors to the Novak Ballistic or SS (with a buy out rule).
2.) No wild paint jobs (these are supposed to be detailed or painted like racecars from the mid-sixties to the 1970's).
3.) Drivers could be optional except at major races.
4.) Any mah batteries.

The main purpose of this class is to have fun with cars that are as evenly matched as possible. It is a great class unless Smokey Yunick shows up with a car.

I would think with a fresh start in MSRA, that the only real choice would be to follow the US VTA rules...since everyone else in the region does...

You will get more visits imo, if guys from other areas come and not have to worry about "special" house or ROAR rules.

even is US VTA....Im in for a visit no matter what...but I think going with the National rules will work out better

Our first objective is to build the club back. That is why the need for some devations from the U.S.V.T.A. rules. Some can not afford new electronics at this time. Then maybe we can start a series with Nashvegas...............
