Bryon, Where were you? The rain came and went and came back and then went again. We left before dark and had some fun racing on the track. It had been almost two years since I ran that car.

You are in the right place. As of now we have T/C nitro, T/C 17.5 ( open speedo), VTA Full rules and a 3.5 fdr, we also have mini's ( TCS rules).
Come on by and introduce yourself. We will be there Sunday At approx 9 am. we start racing around 1pm. Most days we are out of there around
6 pm at the latest.

I tried looking up what the classes included but i couldnt figure it out. Im prolly just being stupid but i dont know what T/C nitro, T/C 17.5 ( open speedo), and 3.5 fdr mean. i know each one is different sizes of cars and either nitro or electric but i dont know which one is which or what can be raced in each class. I have a 8th scale nitro buggy with a .21 engine and a 10th scale electric buggy/truggy.

they run on-road..

the main class is VTA...which is old school American muscle cars with spec motor Novak 25.5....

here are the rules...

http://www.usvintagetransam.com/index.html

the FDR is final drive ratio...that is set at 3.5...you cant go lower than 3.5 like 3.4,3.2...ect...on-road chassis get this number by what chassis you run...for example...I run a Associated TC3 with a internal of 2.5...I take the spur divide it by the pinion and multiply by the internal...and that gets me my FDR...

68/48x2.5=3.5 FDR for my TC3

TC is touring car, which runs a 17.5 motor in stock mode or blinky, the esc must be set to this. The bodies are more race type style

Check out Sean's backyard racing in the Tennessee section or Cherry Valley in the Mississippi section.

if you are asking about the Nashville area, here at Thunder we have indoor on-road carpet, oval carpet, and indoor off-road 10th scale.

In the Memphis area, they have plenty of on and off road tracks too..
