Looks like I will be running F1 at the TCS race...have a couple of questions. Are aftermarket spurs/pinions allowed or are Tamiya gears required, and what is a good starting rollout for F1? Also does F1 run handout motors like mini or is it BYOM? Thanks in advance!

Can't be sure, don't know what the track will like. Mine is geared 24/93, but I'm slow.

Thank you sir...just checked the last page of the F104 thread ( doh!) and it looks like 93/26-ish seems to be pretty standard.

Does Hobbytown do wireless so I can connect to the web?
Don't plan on doing a bunch of surfing, just keeping open chat for the wife.

Will Hobbytown have a supply of premount & F1 tires? I'm bringing some with me, just want to make sure they will be available if everything doesn't go as planned

Does the new track location have lights for late Saturday practice?

Yes unless the weekend looks like a twister-flood fest.
We are looking at hitting the road when the prizes are done.
