Default racing around or close to memphis..

hey fellas I am from Memphis and am going to be in for a weekend in the next month. I was curious as to where the nearest track was that I can run my SLASH, REVO, and Mugen MBX6T at in some racing action. I prefer Sat. if there is anyone racing.

We are having our last scheduled race of the season tomorrow at The Bullet in Milan, TN tomorrow. Sean Jacobson (Sean's House RC) runs some organized Slash and other elec RC races at his track on Sunday afternoons.

Give me a call when you get in town! I have AMB lap counter and we have a few rental personal transponders. If you let me know ahead of time I am sure that I can get 10 or so racers to race on a Sat night. Thursday night are our regular racing nights also some Sundays.

Some of the guys are running the brushless system, just turning it down. We are going that way anyway after buying seven 12 turn motors already!!!

It's becoming more of a CORR truck class than a spec Slash class anyhow!!

It's more about some good competition and having fun!

Look forward to racing with you and your brother!

I ran a mamba 5700 in my slash, problem was it over heated after 3 mins of runtime. Even with a 15/90 gearing it still overheated, i tried 14/90, even 13/90, still was running hot, when i ran the 14/90 it overheated but not as quick. I ran a enerland 30c 5000mah 2s lipo if that makes a differance

Turning the radio end points way down on the Mamba will make it over heat as well. Not just the wrong gearing. Mambas do not like the end points turned down.
