Racing for points on Easter is not a good idea. As a matter of fact, any holidays other than something like July 4th should not be scheduled as a points race day. If you want to race, go for it, but it should not be for points.
That's strictly my opinion but we're not running for points anyway.
Looks like round two of the 2009 Memphis Mini Cup is a rain out. To quote the club prez "Well it looks like the rain has beat us again. We can try and make this one up next week if everyone wants to. If you want the track setup on Saturday we will need some volunteers to help with it. Steve will be busy at the offroad test-n-tune an I will be coming back in to town. We will make arrangements for the trailer to be there if we have people to set it up."
Next race will be May 31st at Mid-South Hobbies. See ya then !!!!!!!

Well seems as if I was wrong about no "make-up" dates for the Mini-Cup. The race at Mid-South Hobbies on May 31st counts towards the the cup. Congrats to Lamont Perkins for T.Q. and the win. The HobbyTown race on June 7th was won by Frank "Eat My Dust" Rehnelt. He almost lapped the entire field. Three races, three different winners, point standings are very close. Lamont Perkins is the point leader.
Next Memphis Mini-Cup race is July 5th at HobbyTown. TCS race is this weekend, hope to see alot of Minis !!!!!!!!!
Posted below is the updated point standings using the two drop format. Three races down, six to go.
