NEWS FLASH!!!
Bullet Town R/C has decided to go the route of a private insurance carrier this year in Lou of the ROAR program that we had in 2008. With this step, you will no longer be required to purchase a ROAR membership to race at Bullet Town R/C. WE are hoping that this will make it easier for newcomers into the hobby to be able to come out to the track and give racing a shot without having the extra expense of the ROAR membership. It will also free us up to hold racing events with cash prizes and such without causing any conflicts. We look forward to seeing you at the track in 2009!!

Mark you calendars, March 28 will be the MARCH MADNE$$ Race at Bullet Town R/C. $20 entry fee, $10 of the entry goes to the payout. If you do not want to run for the $$, you can pay normal club entry fees and just race for the competition. More information about the race and race sponsors will follow soon. Hope to see you there!
Thanks David

Is there electricity at the track? Is the novice class 1/8 buggy?

There is no electricity at the track currently. We are working with the city and hope to have it available soon.

1/8 Scale in Novice? Don’t think that question has been asked or addressed.

Didn't mean anything by my statement, just had not thought about it. I'll get with David, Brandon and some of the others and see what they think.

Electricity - Race day there are generators running to plug in. Through the week the I plug into a jack on my cig. lighter. As Mike stated, I think the city is working on getting electricity.

Novice - From what I've seen, kids or adult's first "day/year at the track" are mostly running Novice. I would say if you fit this you are novice. If you have experiance with the 1/8th scale at all, you will be fine in the 1/8th scale class. Serveral new 1/8th scale guys came out last year there first time and did great. You'll fall right in I'm sure. . . just my opinion.

Is this your first race ?

Like Mike and Brandon said, never really came up. I would like to keep 1/8 scales and truggies out of the novice class just from the size difference from the 10/th scales. As Brandon said, if you have run for a while, you will be fine. If the crowd is big enough, we can split into sportsman and pro classes. We will fit you in, and I saw your work area, reminds me of DEI race shop...lol ain't no way you are a novice with that much stuff..lol
All kidding aside, if you are not comfortable in the 1.8 class, we can work something out.

I have actually never ran in a organized race, just spent lots of time playing around on a track we built in the back yard and racing against two other cars. Just never really had anywhere until now. I look forward to meeting you guys, having a good time and learning a few things.
